I am part of a collaborative research initiative connecting researchers from three universities: Duke University (USA), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA), and the University of Essex (UK). Our project explores the potential of holistic and integrative brain stimulation for children with disabilities living in the Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Malawi.The primary objective is to provide reliable evidence and data to inform the programming of Fraternity Without Borders in Malawi. We aim to establish a network of academic institutions, both local and international, to deliver technical support in the field. A key component of this initiative involves engaging undergraduate students from Malawian universities during their practicum, fostering local capacity-building and community impact.
