About Liliana Loosbrock
Liliana is a Senior Research Analyst at education research and technology firm EAB. She currently researches higher ed staff and faculty recruitment and retention efforts and emerging talent management strategies. Prior to her time at EAB, Liliana worked in local New York City politics. She also conducted multiple ethnographic research projects. For her undergraduate thesis, she conducted a year-long virtual ethnography in NYC public high school social studies classrooms where she studied civic education during a global pandemic and a contentious presidential election. She also conducted field research on civic education in Ghanaian versus British secondary schools while studying in Accra. Liliana graduated from Barnard College with a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and political science, graduating magna cum laude and with departmental honors.
