I\'m working to reimagine how legislative policy serves people, not just power structures.I study Political Science at UW-Madison and work as a Legislative Intern at a Madison government relations firm, analyzing state legislation and preparing policy briefings across healthcare, transportation, and regulatory issues. My senior thesis uses computational text analysis to examine how abortion legislation spread across states after Dobbs - tracing template diffusion through advocacy networks.After graduating in Spring 2026, I\'m seeking positions in legislative counsel, policy research, or government affairs to build practical expertise in legislative drafting and compliance before graduate school. I\'m particularly focused on healthcare access, reproductive rights, and federal-state policy coordination.Long-term, I\'m building toward federal legislative counsel work - designing policy frameworks that are clear, implementable, and grounded in what communities need.
