Direct the daily operations of the Center for Gender & Sexuality Law and its research initiatives, the Law, Rights, and Religion Project (LRRP) and Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) Project, including administrative and programming operations, grant and finance management/compliance, internal and external relations • Work with Faculty Director and Project leaders to conceptualize, develop, and implement Faculty Teaching and Center projects, project budgets and timelines. • Oversee the Center\'s outgoing communications, including website, social media, press releases and newsletters• Co-write and edit Center, LRRP and ERA Project research reports, policy papers, and other written materials with a specific eye towards adapting complex and nuanced legal analysis for lay audiences (internally referred to as \"The Lilia Edit\")• Responsible for event planning and publicizing, and program development in partnership with student organizations, and other Columbia institutes and Centers• Supervise Administrative & Communications Officer and manage hiring of Research Assistants• Make all logistical arrangements for visiting scholars and faculty sabbatical visitors to the Center for Gender & Sexuality Law• Assist with the preparation of course materials, copyright requests, manuscripts, clerkship letters and other faculty-related tasks

ABOUT LILIA HADJIIVANOVA

Lilia Hadjiivanova is Associate Director of the Center for Gender and Sexuality Law at Columbia Law School, where she manages the daily operations of the Center and its projects, the Law, Rights, and Religion Project and the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) Project. She is also currently working on her master\'s in Public Administration with a concentration in Global Policy at Columbia University\'s School of International and Public Affairs. She has a keen interest in international affairs, technology and fighting disinformation. Before that, she worked in different areas of education, nonprofits, and social services. Lilia\'s roles have included Director of Communications and Global Advocacy at the Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) Foundation, Coordinator of Immigrant Opportunities at the historic LGBT Center in NYC, and Partnership Manager at EDSI, a company contracting with city government to provide workforce development services. Lilia also provides writing and editing services on a freelance basis. Lilia has 10 years of experience in organizational strategy and problem-solving, project management and operations, strategic partnerships, communications, events management, and fundraising. She holds a BSc in Communication and Media Studies from Loughborough University in the UK, and a MA in Communication and Critical Media Studies from California State University, Los Angeles. Lilia is also involved in activism related to movements for immigrants\' rights, LGBTQ+ liberation, workers\' rights and reproductive justice. She has served on the organizing committee of the NYC Dyke March and currently serves on the international advisory board of Deystvie, an organization dedicated to changing the lives of LGBTQI+ people in Bulgaria through pro bono legal services, strategic litigation, educational events and direct action.
