Senior Commodity Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure Use in-depth understanding of technology to deliver Executive Leadership and drive strategy/vision for GE’s Cloud Platform. • Develop, Lead and Execute Strategic Sourcing engagements at GE Digital to partner with all stakeholders to fully understand product roadmaps and develop vendor strategy to support design and build of GE’s cloud platform – Predix. • Ensure compliance with all policies-processes needed to optimize the Cloud/Hardware/Software product portfolio, measure Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and drive product Margins. • Drive daily touchpoints with Predix Design Engineers and Product Managers to assess all product changes proactively. Exercise NPI experience and/or technical prowess in cloud, compute-storage-network hardware, network services, professional services and third party software to ensure all products are compliant with Predix strategic vision and roadmap. • Own interface with select GE Digital ‘Predix Store’ partners. Partner with Finance, PM and Design teams. Develop and present ROI results to team and influence partner decisions when revenue sharing is advantageous. • Measure, report, benchmark and improve cost productivity as a function of market pricing and competitive offerings (e.g. hard deflation, cost avoidance, credits/rebates). • Read, write and interpret Direct OEM legal agreements for distribution of Predix product portfolio through GE channel partners. Explain legal implications of the contract structure and pricing model (Royalties, Referrals) to internal stakeholders.
