Lili is one of two Co-Directors leading Health in Partnership (HIP; formerly Human Impact Partners), whose mission is to transform the field of public health to center equity and build collective power with social justice movements. Through advocacy, organizing, capacity building, and research, HIP improves the social, economic, and political conditions that create health, while explicitly challenging the unjust power imbalances and systems of advantage and oppression that create health inequities. HIP\'s Co-Directors lead the organization with the express purpose of improving the health and wellbeing of people facing inequities – people of color, low-income people, and others – by shifting what is considered traditional public health practice and forming alliances with social movements to achieve health equity. They also have an explicit commitment to maintaining practices that nurture HIP’s staff and respect HIP’s allies, while making decisions closely with one another and striving for a culture of staff engagement in decision making.Key responsibilities: • Set organizational strategy, direction, and positioning within the public health field, and ensure an explicit commitment to our theory of change across all work.• Fundraise and manage $4.7M annual budget to advance our mission and the strategic direction of the organization. • Manage and oversee all aspects of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and programmatic work. • Manage a team of ~25 to implement programmatic work of the organization.• Ensure programmatic excellence and consistent quality and humility in all our work.• Recruit, develop, support, and retain a diverse and high-performance staff. • Maintain positive and mutually reinforcing relationships with community and public health partners• Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors to provide strategic guidance. • Develop funder relationships and revenue to support and expand programmatic work.
