About Lila E.
Hello! I’m a recent graduate of the University of Virginia where I majored in Politics and minored in Sociology. I’m passionate about law and policy in areas, particularly regarding Education and Housing inequity and Wrongful Incarceration. I was active around the UVa campus in organizations such as Undergraduate Women in Law, Volunteers with International Students, Staff, & Scholars (VISAS), Black Student Alliance, and much more. Outside of school, I had internship experience with the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General, the Legal Aid Justice Center of Charlottesville, the South Carolina Department of Corrections, and the Jacksonville Urban League\'s Center for Social Advocacy and Justice.Some of my hobbies include photography, traveling, learning new languages, reading non-fiction, and watching numerous movies and TV shows. I’m currently an Honors paralegal at the Federal Trade Commission and have hopes of applying to law school in the near future.
