ABOUT JINYI LI
Hi! I’m Jinyi, an undergraduate at the London School of Economics passionate about international affairs. As Vice President of the Grimshaw Club, LSE’s oldest student society, I lead efforts to spotlight underrepresented regions and perspectives in international relations and to broaden conversations beyond the Western canon.Past academics, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how conversations and bringing people together can have a genuine impact. Previously at the Chandler Institute of Governance, I supported knowledge-sharing on good governance. At the Singapore Ministry of Defence, I also organised a Track 1.5 dialogue on US-China relations, an experience that showed me how meaningful exchanges can shape real outcomes in a tense geopolitical environment.Beyond IR, I’m committed to community-building. At the LSE Singapore Society, I focus on fostering inclusivity and connection among the Singaporean community on campus. My experiences across government, think tanks, education, and startups have deepened my curiosity, and I’m always keen to keep learning, growing and bringing people together.Happy to connect!
