As the Head of Head of RAM/LCC & FXM for Locomotives & Passenger Coaches (LMC) at Siemens, I apply this wealth of knowledge daily, leading my team in preparing Siemens Locomotives and Passenger Coaches for the future.Our team, an integral part of the Locomotives & Passenger Coaches Engineering, is stationed in the Dependability and Documentation department. We are specialists in Reliability (R), Availability (A), Maintainability (M), and Life Cycle Cost (LCC). Our work involves defining and implementing RAM/LCC specifications for systems and components, their maintenance tasks and intervals. We also focus on Field Experience Management (FXM), where we utilize field data to gain insights, improve our specifications, optimize life cycle costs, and provide better value to our customers.We actively participate in national and international working groups on RAM/LCC, FXM and AI (Artificial Intelligence), keeping us abreast with the latest technology. Our goal is to achieve competitive reliability, best availability, optimized maintenance, and life cycle cost calculations for our locomotives.A significant part of our role is acting as the innovation team introducing Lifecycle intelligence (Li) for LMC, part of the Railigent Xcelerator Program.
