ABOUT LIESBETH JOVÉ LETTENS

I am passionate about shaping smarter, more ethical digital systems, where cybersecurity, policy, and accountability go hand in hand. With a background in law, global governance, and cybersecurity, I focus on the big-picture questions behind today’s tech-driven world: How do we protect people’s rights in digital spaces? What makes data systems trustworthy? How do international rules keep up with cyber threats? I hold dual bachelor’s degrees from ESADE and a Master’s in International Affairs (Cyber Security specialism) from King’s College London. My experience spans data protection, political analysis, and international institutions, including work at the European Patent Office, where I supported GDPR-related processes. I have studied in Spain, France, Switzerland, and the UK (remotely) and worked in Germany, giving me a global perspective and a flexible mindset. I’m fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English, and currently learning German to strengthen my cross-border work. Areas of focus: cybersecurity, intelligence, intellectual property, digital policy, data protection, compliance, tech ethics, and international regulation. I’m especially interested in the human side of cybersecurity, and how we build fair, forward-looking frameworks for the digital age.
