ABOUT LIDIA POMAVILLE

I am a NCCPA Board Certified PA with over 24 years of healthcare experience. My medical training began at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where I earned my Bachelor\'s degree while working at the hospital. I completed Master of Science degree in PA Studies at Wichita State University in Kansas in 2011 followed by elective clinical preceptorship within the Department of Dermatology at DuPage Medical Group in Naperville, IL. Prior to joining Forefront Dermatology, I worked at a busy private dermatology practice in Chicago where I received extensive hands-on specialty training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.My clinical interests include the treatment of acne and eczema, as well as integrative dermatology, combining conventional treatments with complementary holistic approaches. I also enjoy treating anti-aging skin concerns, as well as educating patients on keeping their skin looking and feeling healthy throughout their lifespan. Dermatology is a constantly evolving field and I continue to enhance my skills and knowledge through regular attendance of dermatology conferences and workshops to stay abreast of the latest advances in dermatologic treatments. I currently maintain a clinical site for precepting PA students for Rush University, Rosalind Franklin University, Marquette University, University of Dubuque and Dominican University. I have co-authored multiple publications and lectured on dermatology topics locally and nationally. I am a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology PAs. In addition, I serve as a board member of Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Alumni Association. I am bilingual in Russian and English.
