As an oboist and pianist, I creatively approach the practice of law. I work to provide the unique protection that creators and their works need.I focus my practice on both litigation and transactional work, focusing on copyright, trademark, media, advertising, entertainment, trade secret, privacy, and patent law. I have experience in handling complicated litigation matters in these areas in federal and state courts, and in counseling clients regarding strategic protection, content risk, and compliance issues.Prior to my current role, I gained a wide variety of first-hand entertainment, copyright, trademark, media, and advertising experience while externing for NBCUniversal in their TV Legal Division and for the Federal Trade Commission. I also gained valuable, on-the-ground litigation training at an intellectual property litigation firm, where I represented clients in bet-the-company technology and patent litigations, and at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where I represented Ohio’s executive officials, departments, and agencies at all stages of civil litigation in trial and appellate proceedings, in state and federal court.I understand the law as a musician and lawyer-I am best suited to think creatively about your intellectual property needs.
