About Lida Asilyan
I am a junior adviser at EducationUSA, working on a project that prepares youth from remote regions for educational and exchange programs in the US. I am also a bachelor\'s degree student in English and Communication at the American University of Armenia, where I have won multiple writing awards and participated in various extracurricular activities. My core competencies include writing, editing, creative writing, social media marketing, and photography.As a junior adviser, I design and implement workshops, guest speaker sessions, and interactive activities that increase the hard and soft skills of the participants. I also manage the media outreach and reporting of the project, using Mailchimp, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms. I am passionate about promoting US culture and education, as well as empowering and supporting the youth from underrepresented areas. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I am a FLEX alumna, a Global Village on the Move participant, and a former exchange student at ADM Senior High School in Iowa. I value collaboration, creativity, and learning, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities.
