ABOUT LIBERTY BASSETT

I never thought I would be a double major, especially not in two different fields, yet here I am. Entering into college I was so torn on what I wanted to do and had so many interests that made it hard to decide. But then, I took my first accounting and art history classes my first semester and it just felt right. Having graduated from William & Mary with my B.B.A in Accounting & Art History, I returned to Williamsburg to attain my Master of Accounting. I will have CPA eligibility come May 2023. Art has always been a large part of my life. I found solace in it from a young age, always creating and studying different images. Art museums feel like a second home, and I am always looking for the chance to visit different ones.I find value in being able to satisfy both parts of my brain - the quantitative logical side with accounting and the more creative side with art history. Having worked in a variety of fields, I have learned valuable skills ranging from team management to conflict resolution and even to event planning and logistics. I am an enthusiastic individual, constantly looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and grow both academically and personally. Outside of work and academics, I consider myself an avid coffee and ice cream connoisseur and can be spotted at local coffee shops working or reading away.Feel free to contact me at L••••••••@gmail.com
