About Libby Poston
What’s one thing you love that most people hate? For me, it’s group projects. I find team dynamics fascinating. I was first introduced to the concept of group formation stages while on a month-long backpacking course with the National Outdoor Leadership School. I was dumbstruck; I had gone the first 19 years of my life without properly learning about something as critical as teamwork. I’ve continued learning about and developing high-performing teams, both in frontcountry and backcountry environments, through my roles at Learning Technologies Inc. and Carolina Adventures. As I embark on the next stage of my life, I’m focused on bringing the lessons I’ve learned in the outdoors about teams and leadership development to the corporate world.
