Crime: Libby both prosecutes and defends cases across the spectrum of criminal offences as led junior and junior alone. She is a Level 3 CPS prosecutor on the General Crime Panel, and is appointed to the CPS Specialist Panels for Fraud, Proceeds of Crime, and Serious Crime at Level 2. Libby has particular experience in conspiracy cases, including drugs and money laundering.Fraud/financial crime: Libby has a particular interest in fraud and financial crime and has gained further experience through her work as SFO Disclosure Counsel from 2018 to date. In December 2020, Libby was appointed to the SFO C Panel for both Prosecution and Proceeds of Crime & International Assistance. She also has experience of regulatory investigations having been instructed to join a Financial Conduct Authority investigation team from February to March 2019.Regulatory: Libby has experience of proceedings before the NMC, GDC, SWE and the HCPC, involving issues of clinical competence, dishonesty, and sexual misconduct.DBS appeals: Libby frequently represents people who have been barred at their appeals before the Upper Tribunal, providing an advisory, drafting and advocacy service at every stage of appeal.Inquests: Libby has particular experience of representing prison officers at Article 2 inquests and also represents the interests of paramedics and nurses at inquests.Extradition: Libby accepts instructions to defend in extradition matters including bail applications and final hearings. Other: Libby has been instructed on a number of high profile international law cases and historic criminal offences, including the Kenyan Emergency Group Litigation (\'Mau Mau Litigation\'), through the Government Legal Department Junior Junior Panel. She has also been involved in several personal injury claims against the Ministry of Justice.In September 2022, Libby participated in the South Eastern Circuit Advanced International Advocacy Course at Keble College, Oxford.
