About Lianyu Chu
Dr. Lianyu Chu is a researcher, consultant, innovator, and entrepreneur. He started his career at University of California Berkeley and Irvine, where he conducted a variety of emerging research in traffic control, management and traffic information. He co-founded CLR Analytics Inc.(CLR) to develop innovative transportation solutions and technologies. US Department of Transportation (UDSOT)\'s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program selected the CLR team led by Dr. Chu to develop a number of technologies to upgrade the existing transportation infrastructure for informative decision and smart city applications. Dr. Chu has multidisciplinary background in electrical engineering, telecommunication, and transportation. His study fields include intelligent transportation systems, advanced traffic detection, traffic simulation modeling, traffic operation, smart infrastructure, system engineering, and etc. He has participated more than 90 research and consulting projects and published more than 100 papers and reports.
