ABOUT LIANA SIKHARULIDZE

Since I was little, growing up in Belarus with my grandparents, I always dreamt of becoming a nurse to help take care of them as they aged. Understanding aging at home and developing skills to care for families is a true passion of mine and has helped me to become a better leader over the years. In 2016 I realized my dream of taking care of my grandparents who both had Dementia, and I supported them with palliative care for the remainder of their life. My experience allowed me to continuously commit to clients\' quality of life and safety, by delivering client/family-centered care and mostly never losing my passion to lead from the heart.As Executive Director of Qualicare North York, I partner with organizations and professionals in healthcare to support clients and their families with in-home care. I oversee all functions of the North York and Toronto office, particularly as it relates to business development, strategic partnerships and client relationship management. In this role, I oversee a team of dedicated care professionals, and work closely with members of an integrated team, such as Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and others. I also sit on the Board of Directors at Ontario Caregiver Coalition, acting as a passionate caregiver advocate.At Qualicare, our mission is to improve the quality of life for clients and their families by offering a wide range of services. We do so by providing client and family-centric approaches to tailor home healthcare solutions for aging adults that meet their individual needs.
