ABOUT LIAM HOBDAY

I am a multifaceted emerging creative with a strong foundation in both creative practice and production logistics. I hold a BA in Film Production and an MA in Production Management for Film, TV, and Digital Media from the University of Salford, and I am developing a career rooted in craft, discipline, and long-term growth across the creative sectors.I am currently a Production Office Trainee on the ScreenSkills Trainee Finder, with hands-on experience across scripted productions as a Location Marshal. This has given me a grounded understanding of production logistics, team operations, and the practical workflows that keep sets moving. I am focused on progressing into the production office, working toward Production Management roles in scripted Film and TV.Alongside this, I work as a freelance producer across film, events, and arts & culture projects under Heorot. I develop ideas, coordinate teams, and support the delivery of creative work across different formats, allowing me to work across disciplines while strengthening my producing practice within the wider creative economy.I am also the co-founder and lead producer of Albion Studios, a developing production company focused on telling grounded, inclusive, contemporary British stories.
