ABOUT LIAM PEARCE
CNC Machinist at Red Bull Racing, working at the heart of high-performance engineering and precision manufacturing. My career has been built around delivering high quality components in fast-paced, innovation-led environments, from aerospace to F1.I began my journey at Dyson, starting a multi-year apprenticeship where I collaborated with R&D teams on prototype components. This gave me early exposure to tight tolerances, rapid revision cycles, and the importance of DFM in product development.I then progressed to Broadway Engineering, specialising in 5-axis machining of complex aerospace components made from exotic materials like titanium, Inconel, and high-grade stainless steel. This role deepened my understanding of how material properties impact machining strategies, tool selection, and part quality. My time here strengthened my attention to detail, process control and quality assurance techniques.At Safran, I refined my technical skillset further while studying for an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on lean manufacturing, process optimisation, and quality control.Now at Red Bull Racing, I’m applying that experience in a world where performance, precision, and pace are everything.
