ABOUT LIAM OSHEA
I am a Commercial and Civil Litigation Solicitor specialising in Dispute Resolution, with particular expertise in Property Litigation, Commercial Contract Disputes, Landlord and Tenant disputes (residential and commercial), Debt Recovery, and Contentious Probate claims.I act for businesses, property owners, landlords, tenants, and individuals in complex disputes, providing clear, strategic and commercially focused advice from pre-action stage through to trial and appeal where required.I have extensive experience using Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including without prejudice negotiations, settlement strategy, and formal mediation, to resolve disputes efficiently and cost-effectively. Where settlement is not possible, I have the technical litigation experience and tactical approach required to progress matters through the Court process.I regularly advise clients on disputes proceeding through the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, including multi-track litigation, enforcement action, and complex contractual and property-related disputes. In addition, I have experience in Arbitration and property-related land law matters within the Property Chamber, including contentious property and boundary-related issues.I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2007, achieving a Distinction in my postgraduate Legal Practice Course, and completed my training contract with Astle Paterson (formerly Bakewells Solicitors of Burton upon Trent). I became a Director at Astle Paterson in 2011 following a successful period as an Assistant Solicitor.
