ABOUT LIAM MARSHALL
I have 15 years experience of banking including branch management, relationship management, digital development and product management. I have built an in-depth knowledge of the evolving digital and commercial banking landscape empathising with changing customer behaviour and delivering amazing customer experiences that are in line with commercial and governance expectations whilst being a constant advocate of change within the business. Regulatory environments and customer expectations are changing faster than ever before, my passion is to ensure we don’t get left behind. Outside of my role I’ve also ran two small start-ups. These have given me a real insight into what it takes to launch and run a new business along with the barriers involved. Its this insight that allows me to truly empathise with the UK’s SME sector.I’ve loved working for companies with customer centric values and have had the pleasure of experiencing many different roles within the financial and digiyal sectors.I’ve also had the opportunity to give a little back which is something that I’m very passionate about. In recent years I have fundraised more than for both Marie Curie and the British Heart Foundation by walking 100 miles across the Great Wall of China and trekking to Everest base camp.
