ABOUT LIAM PADDOCK
Hi! I\'m Liam My ‘day job’ is to help leaders at big businesses make their people feel more appreciated. Workhuman tech enables habitual, meaningful recognition which brings visibility to all the small wins at work. By amplifying all ‘moments that matter’ at an individual, team, and departmental level we transform global corporate cultures and performance. The uniquely valuable dataset created in our ecosystem then gives a company a competitive advantage. I spend most of my time with HR and business leaders in UK & I sharing benchmarks, case studies and best practice. I lead with questions, share ‘food for thought’, and develop and present business cases for investment. My 10+ years in commercial roles have mainly focused on empowering the people function, so I understand the day-to-day challenges of corporate HR, have an extensive network, and I’m a regular at events. Think of me as a thought-partner!In my ‘free time’ I am a ‘listener’ and fundraiser for Samaritans. While reconnecting humans at scale using software across large companies is important, I find time spent on the phone with people in crisis as, if not more, rewarding. Without volunteers and donations charities that provide a safety net for the vulnerable in our communities wouldn’t exist. I contribute as much as I can and don’t apologise for using LinkedIn to increase awareness.I try to keep my feed light by sharing my love of travel, the outdoors and sports. I was lucky to be a ‘college soccer’ player in US and now run marathons. My academic background is Business and Psychology so expect educational posts on meditation, therapy, allyship – and hopefully thought-provoking questions around responsible use of AI, management and leadership etc. I also put up pictures of Rick (the dog)……Thanks for stopping by - you can reach me at l••••••••@workhuman.com or on 07•••••••45.
