ABOUT LIAM DORIS
I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MEng (Distinction) in Civil Engineering in 2011. My undergraduate dissertation centered on the response of multi-story steel frame buildings in fire and his final year masters project was focused on policy, planning, optioneering and feasibility within UK Renewable Energy sector.I joined Grontmij (later Sweco) in 2012 as a Graduate Engineer within the UK Energy team based in Glasgow. Primarily involved with the delivery of structural design for multi-discipline onshore wind farm developments accross the UK, with a focus on structural design. I progressed from Graduate Engineer to Principal Engineer, becoming chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers 2018.I joined RPS in 2022 as Associate Director in the Buidlings Structures Scotland team, based in Glasgow.
