As Assistant Lead for Griffith Cares, I support the delivery of our mission to “create a brighter tomorrow for the communities where we live and work”. In this role, I assist the Lead with our budgeting and financial planning to ensure our charitable initiatives are effectively resourced and meet our charitable aims, also aligning toward the business aspirations, values and pillars.I review and assess employee funding requests, helping to ensure support is directed where it can make a real difference. I coordinate and facilitate team meetings, handling agendas, minutes, and follow-ups to keep everything running smoothly. A key part of my role involves supporting the management of relationships with our charity partners helping to maintain strong and collaborative connections that drive long-term community impact. I also support ongoing administration that keeps Griffith Cares organised and effective.In addition to operational support, I play an active role in helping to drive the ongoing embedding of the Griffith Cares strategy across Europe, working collaboratively with colleagues to align initiatives and share best practice. I play a key part in embedding the programme across our UK operations, supporting awareness, engagement, and participation at all levels.As the 17 member strong Griffith Cares Team, we manage the CSR calendar, hosting events across our business to spotlight important messaging, topics and charities, or to increase employment engagement.This role allows me to combine purpose-driven work with practical coordination contributing to something meaningful.
