Strategic role driving workforce capability, performance and compliance across Haier Europe’s UK and Ireland Operations. Spearheading learning and development initiatives and overseeing the UK’s Training Activation Centre, which supports the induction and CPD of 260+ Field Service Engineers and associated Leadership Professionals. Learning and Development Strategy and Programme Delivery • Lead the development and implementation of the L&D strategy aligned with organisational goals • Manage business wide mandatory compliance training, including Health and Safety and HR related topics, with monthly reporting to UK and European SLT colleagues• Business Partner with business leaders, senior leadership, HR and SMEs to identify training needs and deliver targeted, blended learning solutions • Designed and launched the Aim Haier Leadership Academy and recently introduced the Women at Haier Leadership programmes• Led the delivery of internal leadership pathways, utilising the apprenticeship levy for the ILM Level 3 and 5 pathways• Full ownership and accountability of our LMS system (Docebo), transforming it into a self-service portal and the central European hub of excellence • European lead for the Learning and Development digital strategy agenda with a focus on compliance, e-learning and local legislative alignment • Use data driven evaluation and KPI’s to monitor and improve training effectiveness Training Activation Centre Leadership • Oversee the end to end operation of the UK Training Activation Centre, aligning Engineer Induction and CPD with City and Guilds Assured standards • Lead, coach and manage a high performing internal training team to deliver impactful, up to date, technical and practical instructor led training • Ensure all facilities meet the required Health and Safety standards and support a high quality learning environment • Align training with key filed operational performance indicators
