35-45 hours per week | 12-15 weeks each summer | 3 summers employedAs a Tennis Front Desk Manager at Indian Ridge Country Club in the summers, I help oversee front desk operations and sales. There is a strong emphasis on being financially accountable, including tracking and reporting all money flowing in and out of our department. I provide daily customer service, schedule court times and lessons, and help assist daily operations. I also help in programming by giving lessons to children ages 4-8 and helping run practice for both the junior teams and the ladies teams. I also travel with the teams on match days to help keep score, sort out any confusion between the players, and even play in when needed. I also contribute to maintaining the facility and outdoor courts. This includes sweeping and lining the clay courts after play, blowing water and pine needles off the hard courts, and straightening up the indoor space. This role strengthened my skills in financial accountability, cash handling, and customer service, aligning with my interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting.
