ABOUT LIAM HUDSON

I am a focused and dedicated insurance professional with over 22 years of experience working within the Lloyd’s market. I am enthusiastic, flexible and hugely motivated to succeed with good organization and planning skills. I am a team player and able to motivate myself and others to achieve results as well as meet and set targets. I pride myself on my ability to adapt to different classes of business and take on new challenges. I am experienced in managing the claims function from complex loss management through to section oversight, development and the implementation of new processes and systems. I am experienced in most methods of placement including Binding Authorities, Open Market, Facultative Reinsurance and Treaty Reinsurance. Although my career has been primarily in the property market, I have experience handling cross class losses including but not limited to Third Party Liability, Political Violence & Terrorism, Energy, Contingency and Commercial Motor. I understand how the business flows and how the claim function aligns within an Underwriting agency. I have considerable experience in Third Party management including taking part and performing audits, completing due diligence and general oversight of this role. I am not afraid to make or challenge decisions as well as know when to seek further information to make informed decisions.
