ABOUT LIAM HEGGEMANN
Minor League Video and Technology with the Cincinnati Reds. My primary responsibility involved capturing video and utilizing Trackman and Hawkeye to capture player data before and during games. After processing pregame and game video and data, my work would be shared with players, coordinators, field staff, and player development to aid in development and evaluation-Participated in scouting projects with the Reds. Attended Arizona Fall League where I evaluated prospects and created personal write-ups. Gained valuable experience in using analytics to uncover under-the-radar college prospects-Working in analytics and player development, I have revamped Saint Mary\'s data collection and analysis methods. Utilizing R Studios and Python, I have generated reports that allow for easy data cleanup and reports to get important metrics from both hitters and pitchers. I learned from a great coaching staff with much experience at the big-league level-In scouting, my role consisted of game-planning for opponents using video and stats through Synergy and 643 media. I dove into hitter\'s tendencies and looked for breakdowns in swings to attack during games. For pitchers, I analyzed metrics and tendencies, while also looking for pitch tipping.
