Providing 3rd line support to the Network Operations team – dealing with complex enterprise level LAN & WAN issues, escalations and providing direct customer facing support under strictSLA policy (P1-4);• Maintaining and upgrading a multivendor UK core network (Juniper MX, QFX, Cisco 3K, Palo Alto VM100/500/50). Including support to the backbone by configuring and troubleshooting peering (LINX and LONAP), transit (Telia, NTT), MP-BGP, OSPF, L3VPNs, QnQ, NNIs, PEs, POPs, corporate office infrastructure and data centre spine & leaf architecture;• Managing corporate and customer Palo Alto firewall estate – implementing security, NAT & QoS policies, IPsec site-to-site VPN and GlobalProtect remote access VPN;• Designing and implementing multi-link CPE solutions for customer sites on Juniper SRX and Cisco 900 series routers. With solutions including any of the following technologies; MPLS, BGP, VRF, DIA, ELL, FTTC, DSL, VRRP and IPsec VPN;• Planning, writing up and delivering training for internal staff and junior engineers across multiplecorporate offices over the UK;• Providing 24 hour on-call escalation duties within a rota covering a 7 day period.
