About Liam Bayne
I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Cornell University, where I’ve developed a strong passion for manufacturing, energy, and sustainability. During my internships at Corning Incorporated, I contributed to projects such as redesigning tensile strength testing equipment and optimizing glass melting processes through experimental design and computational modeling. At SEPAC, Inc, I streamlined inventory systems and converted engineering drawings into 3D models to enhance efficiency in manufacturing operations. Within Cornell University Sustainable Design, I’ve led efforts to simulate heat pump retrofits for carbon-neutral buildings and fabricated an indoor solar simulator in partnership with the Energy and Environment Research Laboratory.
