ABOUT LUCIANO GUASCO

Passionate about coding, mentoring, leading, problem solving, and sketching ideas into actions. Interested in web apps, natural language processing, startups, data science, agro tech, climate change, gender equality, communities, green projects, poverty reduction, and all around using technology for a better world. My first hobbyist program was made at 13years old. My grandfather inspired me into science, electronics and computers, and passed me the self learning motivation. I have used many languages, focusing on Javascript, CSS3, HTML, and Python since 8 years ago. Actually using NextJS / ReactJS for my everyday mobile and web apps. I had built fully backends (Django, NodeJS, Firebase), APIs, distributed tasks, serverless functions and deployments pipelines. Always focusing on Test Driven Development, and encouraging TypeScript for JS. I enjoy learning patterns and anti patterns, trying to do things in the best way possible while not compromising speed. I was born in Patagonia, Argentina, and lived in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Australia, Germany, Hungary and Thailand. At the moment in Canada, where it feels like home and I would like to stay a longer time! You can join me skiing, rock climbing, fly fishing, surfing, hiking, playing guitar during offline times.
