ABOUT LILY MYRICK
Undergraduate student pursuing an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree, with an interest in reimagining local government approaches to equity and community. I\'m passionate about the intersection of civic leadership and urban-centered policy, particularly designing place-based communities and electing forward-thinking mayors in cities across the country. As a proud Alabamian, I believe that progressive policy is at the heart of shaping Alabama into a great place to live, work, and raise a family — starting with electing good people to public office. As a first-generation college student, I\'m also passionate about curricular transformation — agile, innovative, collaborative approaches to equity in higher education. As a student, I\'m working to seek connections and synthesis across social science disciplines in order to more fully appreciate the connectedness of the many ways of knowing.
