Design robotic systems for Mars Rover prototype alongside 50 engineers to prepare for annual competition, competing against 100+ teams, that assess the rover\'s ability to withstand Mars-like conditions• Integrate code for four independent systems and optimize existing code by removing excess and redundant code to improve performance across various rover hardware components, utilizing Git for version control and collaborative development• Troubleshoot and implement embedded C++ code on Arduino Teensy 4.1 to integrate EZO CO₂ into Mars Rover prototype• Program error-detection functionality to trigger 10-second LED alerts on various hardware components upon failure, providing visual cues and corresponding error messages to support debugging across all subteams• Develop printed circuit boards (PCB) using Fusion 360 to consolidate electrical components onto optimally sized boards, enabling integrated control of robotic functions and supporting further development by other subteams
