I build fundraising strategy that gets implemented. I came up through the work. Major gifts at The Bowery Mission. Three years at Aperio Philanthropy, where I helped build the consulting practice and worked with organizations at every stage of development maturity. More than fifteen years sitting across from donors, in strategy sessions, and with fundraisers who didn\'t believe they could make the ask. Until they did. I\'ve built that track record in spaces that weren\'t always designed for someone like me, and I\'ve found that the fundraisers who feel most uncertain about their seat at the table are often the ones doing the most important work. In 2024, I launched LPM Consulting to work alongside development teams, not above them. In under two years, LPM has partnered with more than a dozen organizations, from community-based nonprofits navigating their first $5M to institutions managing multi-billion dollar campaigns and $200M annual development revenue. Every engagement is built from scratch, and every recommendation accounts for the actual team, culture, and constraints. Strategy is only as good as the people carrying it forward. What I\'ve seen consistently: the gap between a plan that works and one that collects dust is almost never the strategy itself. It\'s implementation. It\'s that the plan wasn\'t built for your team, your capacity, your moment. The consultants who get this right are the ones who\'ve done the frontline work long enough to know what gets dropped when a team is under-resourced and under pressure. LPM\'s work spans four areas: interim and fractional development leadership, major gifts strategy and multi-year growth planning, fundraising team training and cohorts, and donor communications and case for support development.
