ABOUT LEYANNE S.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of customer focused environments both inside and outside of IT, this has helped me develop strong communication skills, confidence in engaging with people, and a natural ability to identify and improve processes. My early work in care, learning disability support, catering, and retail has been especially valuable. It taught me empathy, patience, and how to understand people’s needs, which has shaped my approach to teamwork, service delivery, and problem solving.I have now spent over eight years working within IT, gaining hands on experience with a range of applications, and more recently specialising in platforms such as ServiceNow and Ivanti. In my current role, I am responsible for building and improving customer service catalogues. While ServiceNow is a key part of my daily work, my strengths go far beyond the tooling itself. I focus on understanding business requirements, designing clear and effective processes, supporting onboarding and service transitions, and ensuring catalogue items and workflows meet both customer needs and operational capabilities.I enjoy roles that involve communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration across teams. I am always keen to learn new systems, develop new skills, and take on challenges that allow me to grow. I take pride in seeing the impact of my work, whether that is an improved workflow, a smoother onboarding experience, or better outcomes for colleagues and customers.I also bring experience mentoring teammates, contributing to documentation and governance, and helping to uphold team standards. These responsibilities have strengthened my leadership abilities and prepared me for roles with greater accountability and people focused elements.
