Chair, King County Emergency Management Coordinating Committee: Lead monthly meetings with 60+ attendees across 19 departments. Set annual priorities, facilitate educational opportunities, and maintain county-wide contacts for emergency operations center activation.• Staff Liaison, Emergency Management Advisory Committee (EMAC): Manage the largest committee established in King County Code, overseeing 64 formal members and 100+ additional partners statewide. Onboard new members and yearly elected leadership team, set annual priorities, and align workgroup initiatives with regular progress reports.• Co-Chair, Seattle Urban Area Security Initiative Emergency Management Subcommittee: Develop counter-terrorism grant proposals with stakeholders on topics including mass care, public health, animal sheltering, and Stop the Bleed training and equipment. This work has included the deployment of over worth of tourniquets to schools.• Grant Program Manager: Oversee Washington Homeland Security Region 6’s $3M+ annual funding across three grant programs. Lead project development, statewide negotiations, competitive presentations, and financial tracking for the entirety of the grant period of performance. Achieved at least 10% annual funding increases from 2022 forward.• Program Builder: Established a new program for areas including cybersecurity and election security, including creating and supervising three new positions to manage this work.• Project Manager: Manage internal grant projects to include regular event planning and execution. Most recently, a 350-person, three-day statewide cybersecurity conference debuting a free gamified training resource developed by my team.• On-Call Emergency Point of Contact: Responsible for Duty Officer shifts as the primary point of contact for any regional disaster.
