As second-line support, I have a more active role in the joiners, movers, & leavers (JML) processes, including responsibilities for joiners laptop builds and software installation; so they can be productive from day 1, auditing software licencing for existing colleagues and leavers, and collecting leavers\' IT hardware and rebuilding ready for reissue, as well acting as a point of escalation for the Service Desk Analysts.I have more freedom to design and implement projects to add value to the business, and partake in project work with the IT Infrastructure Team (such as Windows Hello rollout and IT/AV fitout in new offices).
