Lead the 3 shift Production Maintenance team for Compounding (mixing) and Filling and Packaging production operation for a cosmetic manufacturer operating in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment. • Directed and coached up to 30 maintenance technicians, mechanics, electromechnics and PLC mechanics across 3 shifts,7 days per week. • Establish and manage CMMS system for preventative / predictive maintenance tasks to improve equipment uptime. Utilize data to establish long term and short-term equipment overhauls and upgrades • Developed plans and schedules for mechanical/electrical integrity and PPM activities that are required to support the plant. Managed the day-to-day unplanned events by priority scheduling based on department strategy and balancing budget with business objectives. • Drove maintenance support for Operation with an emphasis in reducing equipment downtime by implementing corrections based on a root cause analysis process. • Facilitate the transfer and successful startup of new production lines such as Cappers, Induction sealers, tube fillers and cartoners. • Implemented Maintenance asset management (TPM) process that drove maintenance activities towards reliability driven maintenance. • Managed Capital resources requests and implementation with a focus on meeting the schedule and underbudget project execution. • Managed and ordered new parts, replacement parts, and spare parts inventories. Ensured that critical production equipment was identified, and replacement repair parts and strategies were in place. • Lead maintenance team in all safety and health responsibilities. • Supported the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents.
