After a successful period of holding the role on an interim basis for a year, I was invited to take the role on a permanent basis. As part of this role I sit on both the operational business unit and Sector procurement senior leadership teams, and have responsibility for leading a team of 7 specialists who deliver requirements led, commercially focussed business partnering support to 12 operational contracts and new business opportunities. Spend is primarily focussed around high-risk outsourced services, construction, infrastructure management (soft and hard FM) and some niche manufactured items.
