System Administrator II is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the company’s computer systems and networks. System Administrator II will act as a liaison between the technical and non-technical employees within the company and various related entities. Candidates for this position must be team players and have strong customer service and communication skills, both written and oral. Exceptional organizational skills are necessary for this fast-paced growing environment.• Setup, configuration, and deployment of VMWare, Windows, and Linux servers• Support and monitor LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches• Maintain network and system security• Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.• Author and maintain technical documentation for IT procedures and processes• Complete special projects as requested• May require work after hours, weekends, and travel to different company sites• Report to the IT Manager.
