ABOUT LEWIS STONEBURNER

Lewis Stoneburner is a Senior Managing Director of Development and leads Greystar’s Development and Construction team in the Florida, Georgia, and Alabama regions (the Lower Southeast business unit). Lewis also currently sits on Greystar’s Executive Committee. This region has executed over $7B of development across approximately 80 projects, including pre-development, construction, lease-up, stabilized, and sold projects. He oversees the management of the P&L, business plan, team members, and development projects within the regions. In addition, Lewis and his team are responsible for sourcing, site selection, negotiation, underwriting, capitalization, entitlement, design, construction management, leasing, and disposition of new development opportunities. Lewis’s business unit currently manages approximately $4.1B of projects across 50 development and pre-development deals, representing approximately units and over 1.8MSF of industrial development. In addition, the business unit has sold approximately $3.4B of instiutitonal developments within the region, representing over multifamily units, 348 hotel keys, and SF of industrial warehouse. Since joining Greystar in 2014, he has been involved in the development and pre-development of thousands of units of multifamily, student housing and senior housing, as well as industrial, hotel, and various retail components. This development spans construction types including garden, mid-rise, vertical and horizontal mixed-use projects, high-rise, and industrial warehouse. Prior to joining Greystar, Lewis served as Vice President for Robinson Development Group and an associate and senior associate with CBRE specializing in office brokerage and executing nearly square feet of office leases. Lewis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Dean’s Scholar), and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia.
