To control and co-ordinate event staff and safety in a designated stand of the stadium.• To ensure that the requirements of the Safety Certificate and Ground Regulations are upheld at all times.• To brief and instruct teams under their direction and debriefs.• To be responsible for the safety and comfort of spectators within a designated stand of the stadium.• To ensure all safety checks are carried out, and report back to Event Control.• To monitor all staff in designated stand before, during and after the event.• To attend pre and post event briefings and compile a concise report for the Event Safety Officer.• To carry out all instructions given by the Event Safety Officer.• Liaise with other Supervisors before, during, and after each event in allocating security stewards for specified roles and responsibilities.• To be responsible for ensuring the safety and security disciplines and standards are set and maintained to the satisfaction of the Event Safety Officer.• Taking ownership whilst dealing with high pressure situations.• Possessing a good knowledge of each event’s policies, procedures and job descriptions.
