Complex cultural, working practices and negotiation handling challenges undertaken to allow for effective project execution• Experience of large scale, complex projects including LNG liquefaction, re-gasification, pipelines, offshore and onshore refining• Planning, scheduling, progressing and supporting projects in maintaining schedule via recovery planning• Tendering new project opportunities, budgets, scheduling and estimating• Sub contract coordination and support of E&I installation• Budget management of department overheads and training budgets• Undertaking appraisals and setting objectives to challenge individuals and meet corporate strategy• Reaccreditation of the company IET accredited training scheme for chartered engineers• Undertaken a number of restructuring exercises to ensure operational efficiency during changing market environments • In addition to my daily duties as department manager I am also the global functional network leader for electrical engineering.
