ABOUT LEVON MASSMANIAN

Levon Massmanian is a Partner at Resolution Economics LLC, an economics and statistics consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Charlotte, Washington, D.C, Philadelphia, and New York. Levon holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics from the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, D.C, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Whittier College.Levon brings nearly 13 years of experience in labor and employment litigation consulting. After more than a decade in the firm’s Century City corporate office, in 2024, Levon became in charge of leading Resolution Economics’ Downtown Los Angeles office. Levon serves as an expert in state and federal wage-and-hour matters, including class and PAGA actions, and single-plaintiff employment disputes, with extensive experience providing economic damages evaluations and statistical analyses for these matters. Levon has consulted on more than 300 class and collective action matters and has addressed issues involving regular rate of pay calculations, off-the-clock work, exempt versus non-exempt classifications, meal and rest break compliance, rounding, overtime, pay equity, and other state and federal regulatory requirements. Levon is highly skilled in working with complex HR, payroll, timekeeping, sales, productivity, and other operational databases, as well as developing sophisticated damages models for single-state, multi-state, and federal matters. Levon is frequently asked to present findings related to class certification, merits, and economic exposure for alternative dispute resolution forums such as mediation and settlement conferences.
