I am a creative professional with a passion for design, problem-solving, and making complex ideas simple. I have over almost 2 decades of experience in the creative field and specialize in the fields of web UI/UX and video. I have worked on and off as a freelancer since high school and my strategy when working with a client is to always treat them like they are my own, whether I am working for a company or working as a freelancer. Having worked in so many different mediums and industries, I have grown to love how everything comes together. I have a unique understanding of the strengths, limitations and pitfalls of so many creative mediums which has helped me in communicating between clients, contractors, and designers. Not only do I understand the importance of clear communication, but also the importance of planning, strategizing, and implementing the full picture to bring a project togetherWhile I have no problems getting my hands dirty, I have held several leadership roles. As a creative director, I managed in person and remote team members and was in charge of the brand messaging as well as handled the graphics and live broadcasts for live events. Working as a CTO for a content focused agency, I managed a remote team as well as contractors in creating websites and managing reporting for clients. One of my main focuses is testing client websites to make sure they have the UX to optimize for conversion. I also handled the technical side of sales in pitching to new clients. My personal life, much like my professional life, is spent constantly pushing myself to that next level. I try to spend as much time out in nature as possible participating in activities like hiking and camping. Disconnecting in nature has made a large impact on my ability to create a healthier work-life balance for myself. Despite being out in nature, I still find ways to be creative by taking up whittling. This balance between nature and tech means I come back to work more grounded and prepared for the next task at hand.
