Fixed Equipment Engineer overseeing the mechanical integrity of in service vessels, heat exchangers, towers, drums, tanks, fired heaters, and piping in the Feed Prep units and Gas Plant. Schedule inspections and manage remaining life and repairs. Evaluate minimum required thickness for equipment and piping components, plan repairs or replacement when needed. Create, review, and approve management of change (MOC\'s) for changes in the plant. Project Engineer over new Refinery equipment including vessels, exchangers, tanks, and piping. Review and approve drawings, perform fabrication shop visits / audits, coordinate work in field, approve equipment / pipe installation when complete. Plantwide Fired Heater Engineer: Manage tube mechanical integrity and infrared (IR) program. Coordinate radiant and convection cleaning while heaters are online (including installing access doors). Areas of focus and initiatives: Coke drum integrity - Thermocouple monitoring, acoustic emission testing (AET), laser scanning, anchor bolt management Plantwide steam trap management and surveys Flexible hose program and inspection Spring hanger inspections.
