My main focus currently as an Energy Broker within Savills Energy is to provide an end to end bespoke procurement service suitable to an individual customers requirements. In order to be successful in doing so, day to day I spend my time focusing on the following- Analysing customers current arrangements to then negotiate more competitive supplier proposals where possible- Offering advice on the best possible time to purchase energy (using the teams extensive knowledge of utility market activity). A lot of business owners are not aware of the many bullish/ bearish factors that play a part in affecting utility wholesale trends- Providing comprehensive recommendations to a customer in regards to who they should renew with, which term to opt for and why- Proactively identifying new opportunities for us (as well as customers/ prospects) as the utility industry evolves- Contacting leads to schedule presentations and meetings to explain the importance and measures to save energy
