ABOUT LEVI ALLEN
Currently, working in a newly established alternative school that provides alternative education to key stage 4. I joined Moulton College when it was graded inadequate wanting to push myself, improve my skills and knowledge and take on the biggest challenge in my career. In addition to my personal growth, I wanted to improve outcomes of learning experiences and contribute to improving overall student experience, within a year, the college achieved a Good from Ofsted. My passion lied within the satellite centre at Higham Ferrers, having a unique opportunity to work with students on construction programmes to improve their maths and English whilst embedding the fundamental factors and support to prepare them for the world of work. In the early days: Experienced English and Maths Teacher of Functional Skills and GCSE Curriculum along side management and coordinating experience. Have a teaching, assessing, internal and external moderation background in vocational subjects: Business Studies, Business Administration, Basic Construction Skills, CSCS, Employability and Personal Social Development. Proven track record of improving student experience, attendance and learning outcomes. Engaging with students who have barriers to learning is a strength. I have managed teams of up to 15 people and I have had performance and budget responsibilities which have always exceeded agreed expectations.
