RETAIL ENERGY, COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS & STRATEGY, ANALYTICSI have 15+ years of experience in core retail energy functions of load forecasting, product structuring, energy invoice settlement and gross profit analytics. More specifically, I have experience in forecasting electricity and gas usage of a customer, layering in contract requirements and losses to calculate portfolio demand forecast, settling commodity invoices and determining each cost item a retailer is responsible for, estimating future cost for each of those items, designing products, determining hedge requirements to minimize risks associated with each product, and calculating gross profit forecast by taking into account revenue, market cost and hedge value. • Electricity Markets: ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO, AESO, IESO, UK• Gas Markets: NY, NJ, PA, MD, IL, OH, MI, IN, CA, GA, ON, BC, QC, AB, MB, SK, UKAI-ENABLED DIGITAL TRANSFORMATIONIn addition to leading teams responsible for core retail energy functions, I have also led the digital transformation of these interdependent teams. More specifically, I have led the development of a suite of interconnected products used for 1) understanding usage characteristics of consumers, 2) using this understanding to forecast electricity and natural gas usage for individual as well as portfolio of consumers, 3) capturing forward curves and calculating market cost of delivering electricity and natural gas to consumers, 4) designing and offering customized products and services for each consumer, 5) capturing the hedge requirements for these products, and 6) creating hedges, calculating value of those hedges, and calculating gross profit forecast.LEADERSHIPOver the last 15+ years, I have led technology, operations, analytics and finance teams, turned around projects and improved operational efficiency in the retail energy industry.
